Standard
Strong, muscular,
massive animals medium to large in size (up to 10-11 kgs),
females are much smaller in size to males
HEAD
Shape: a
little bit longer than broad, softly rounded, massive.
Forehead:
broad just slightly rounded.
Cheekbones:
well developed, high set.
Nose: medium
length, board, in profile shows a slight indentation, but
without stop.
Chin:
slightly slanting back, in profile creating a curve from the
upper line of the nose.
EARS
Medium size, wide at
the base, tips are rounded with turfs and brushes
EYES
Medium size, oval
shape, with the outer corners tilted slightly upward, set wide
apart. Colour is green or yellow of various gradations,
distributed evenly
BODY
Structure:
Muscular, massive with strong bones, strong neck and wide/broad
chest, to create a rectangle appearance.
Legs/Paws:
Strong, medium, rectangle along with the body. Paws are large
and round with hair tufts between the toes.
Tail: Tail is
thick, not hanging down, evenly furnished with fur, medium or
large.
COAT
Structure:
Medium length, well developed, very dense, undercoat not lying
flat and overcoat water repellent.
Double coat is
present, depends on season: short, tight fitting in summer time
and thick in winter time.
The decorative fur
is long, dense forms complete ruff and frill around the neck and
fluffy britches on the hind legs, short hair on paws.
Colour: All
colours are acceptable; including any amount of white is
permitted, except colour-pointed patterns, chocolate, lilac,
cinnamon, and fawn. |
